It's January 27 of 2024 and we will try to get the car out this year after a dismal season of trying to test and short on funds. This year we will start the season with a trip to the first division 4 race No Problem Raceway in Bella Rose La. during the week end of February 23rd-25th. This race is a regional race that is required by NHRA if our team wants to race any National events this year. This race will also give us a chance to do a little needed tuning on our fuel system, which has been an issue for quite some time. The first 660 ft. of the track has been a night mare for us.
   Now to drop back to mid summer of 2023 during a test session in Montgomery a racer mention to us that ADRL was implementing changes to their dragster class. ADRL had planned several races this summer that would be here in the south and we should look into this. So I was able to contact Ryon Fears and was very excited to hear that the new class called "Extreme Dragster" was indeed going to be part of their 2024 season. It seems the class will include front engine, rear engine dragsters and alterds.
After talking with the team we decided to make this happen for us, so we joined and pre-entered their first race at South Georgia Motorsports Park March 23rd and 24th. Since our pre-entry to the Georgia race the 2024  ADRL schedule has been released to include races at Montgomery and Huntsville in our area, along with events in Ferris Texas and Rockingham North Carolina. We will make an all out effort to attend all of the races and hopefully the class will have racers and spectator interest.

     Now back to NHRA 2024. We are still planning on some NHRA regional and National events, but obviously the car has to step up quite a bit to be competitive  enough to qualify. That will be left up to the team to get the car producing competitive numbers, hopefully we can find a couple of tenths of a second. Until we can step the car up a bit the NHRA events we plan on attending are on "hold", but NHRA division 3 events is where we hope to attend.
